Release notes for version 1.3.8 (Dentrix)

Patient Search

1. We have improved patient search by utilizing Dentrix’s native search filter. You can now search by Last Name, First Name.
   Please Note: Searching by “First and Last Name” will no longer return results.
2. Crown will now only return patients with a status of Patient. Non-Patient, Inactive, and Archived patient statuses are now excluded from search.

Payment Details and Association

1. Payment Association: Choose to have payments recorded directly to a patient’s ledger, or to the Family Account. To change this setting, click on the name in the top right corner of Crown, select Settings > Dentrix G7.
   
2. Payment Details: Crown will now record payment details in the Note field.
   

Voids & Refunds

1. Voids and refunds are now recorded into Dentrix as an adjustment. This change now aligns with Dentrix’s native functionality for adjustments and credits.
   
2. Payment Types: Map your Credit Card, Cash, Check, and Refunded transactions to pre-defined payment type definitions set in Dentrix. To map these definitions, click on the name in the top right corner of Crown, select Settings > Dentrix G7.
   Please Note: We have pre-selected payment type definitions for you, please review these settings and make any adjustments you see fit.
